It has now been 3 years since Caesars took over from Via Mare Restaurant in Frankston. This is the first restaurant for owner and head chef Mario Tavian whose family migrated from Northern Italy in the early 1950’s.

Mario’s influences predominately come from his late mother who taught him to cook with passion, love and most importantly flavour – which is evident in his seasonal menus which incorporate regional Italian dishes.

 

Situated just out of Frankston CBD in a quaint two storey building on the corner of Nepean Hwy and Mereweather St, Caesars’ downstairs dining room caters for approximately 70 people, with a further 30 in the upstairs function room and 30 on their balcony for the ultimate ‘alfresco’ dining experience in the warmer months.

 

You will always be greeted with a smile and receive friendly but professional service from the knowledgeable wait staff. Caesars offers Mediterranean cuisine influenced with modern Italian flavours. They combine the freshest local and imported produce to create innovative menus with specials changing daily.

 

Apart from their extensive a la carte menu, they cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten free and children. To compliment their great food, Caesars has fine wines from the Mornington Peninsula, all over Australia and Italian wines imported direct.
