The Puddler Restaurant and Bar is one of Bendigo's most iconic and oldest established fine dining restaurants in Central Victoria. The heritage listed building has been operating as a dining venue for over 30 years. Since 2005 it has been in the capable hands of husband and wife team, Chris and Kelly Murphy.
Owner and Head Chef Chris Murphy has won "Best local Chef" for the last 2 years running and it's not hard to see why. Priding themselves on the finest quality steak and fresh seafood sourced from all over Australia. Pacific Oysters from Coffin Bay, Jumbo Prawns from Coffs Harbor and Live Southern Ocean Rock Lobster from Apollo Bay. The beef is certified Angus and is equally impressive.
In Winter the open fireplaces create a warm and cosy atmosphere, while during the warmer months there is a sun drenched courtyard perfect for dining alfresco.
