The Cope-Williams Winery is located in Romsey, in the Macedon Ranges wine region. It sits snugly among the rolling hills of Romsey, approximately 50km north of Melbourne. Access from all parts of Melbourne is particularly easy via the freeway.
This quiet rural site boasts a sophisticated winery. Sparkling wines, pioneered by Cope-Williams in 1977 have become something of a signature of the Macedon Ranges wine region, backed by a diverse range of Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Always on offer, in support of their mainstream wines, is a ion of "bin ends" which were made for their former conference and wedding business. These wines are now showing rather pleasant bottle age and are very reasonably priced.
The Rose Garden and surrounding traditional gardens complete the picture and set the scene for many and varied activities available at this beautiful venue. Currently the cellar door is only open by appointment, but wines can be purchased at preferential rates for Connoisseur Club members using the form shown below.
